How to Prevent Rusting on a J-Type Dyeing Machine?

Daily Maintenance and Regular Inspections
Daily maintenance is the first line of defense against rust. Operators should inspect the equipment's appearance daily to ensure there are no deformations or cracks, and clean the equipment surface using cleaning agents and wiping materials that meet cleanroom requirements to avoid introducing new sources of contamination. Regular inspections (weekly, monthly, and annual inspections) should focus on the lubrication of the transmission system, the looseness of electrical wiring, and the effectiveness of safety protection devices. For easily rusted parts such as guide rails, regular inspection and application of waterproof grease are necessary.

Key Post-Cleaning Maintenance Steps
Post-cleaning maintenance is the core of rust prevention and must strictly follow these steps:

1. Thorough Drying: After cleaning, keep the equipment running in a warm-up state for a period of time to allow moisture and humidity to evaporate fully, preventing moisture buildup. Also, check the drain outlets to ensure no water residue remains.

2. Lubrication and Rust Prevention: Lubricate mechanical parts (such as gears, bearings, and guide rails) to prevent rust and wear. If the equipment is to be out of use for an extended period, use machine oil to lubricate critical components, such as the pressure pump. For rusted guide rails, first remove the rust, then clean with acetone and apply waterproof lubricant.

3. Inspection and Adjustment: During maintenance, check mechanical parts (such as gears and belts) for looseness, bearings for wear, and adjust the mechanical precision of moving parts to reduce deviations.

4. Use Protective Agents: After the equipment is completely dry, spray with a wiring insulation protectant to prevent wiring aging. For the inside of the dyeing vat, regularly use an engine coating agent or maintenance agent for maintenance.

Environmental Control and Storage: Ambient humidity is a significant factor leading to corrosion. Factories should control workshop humidity by installing industrial dehumidification equipment and improving ventilation to reduce the moisture content in the air. When not in use, equipment should be placed in a dry, dark, and well-ventilated environment, avoiding prolonged pressure or folding.
