Operating Steps:
1. Determine Fabric Weight: Different fabric weights require different nozzle gaps. Generally, the higher the weight, the larger the gap is needed to ensure sufficient dye penetration and even spraying.
2. Adjust the Nozzle Gap: Use the adjustment device on the equipment (such as a handwheel or electric adjustment mechanism) to adjust the nozzle gap to match the fabric weight. For example, lightweight fabrics may require a gap of 2-3 mm, while heavyweight fabrics may require 5-6 mm.
3. Inspection and Testing: After adjustment, conduct a small-batch trial dyeing to check for color variations or spots on the fabric surface. If problems are found, the gap needs to be readjusted until the dyeing is uniform.
Preventive Measures:
1. Regular Inspection: Before each production run, check whether the nozzle gap has changed due to vibration or wear.
2. Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean the nozzles regularly to prevent dye or impurities from clogging the nozzles and affecting the spraying effect.
3. Process optimization: Combine process parameters such as heating rate and dye liquor circulation speed to comprehensively optimize the dyeing effect.
